HEllo, Thomas Taaffe,

I sent a copy to Hillary, but I do have a change in your letter that you
might want to check for accuracy. The PL 93531 is not the Bennet
Freeze
Act, That Act came later as a result of the Interior Secretary Bennett
and his interest in setting up the relocation at that was set into
motion with the PL 93-531 law. The jurisdictional change that
occurred
on Feb. 1, 2000 was worked with the 1996 act, but is not any relief for
the signers of the accomodation agreement.

I hope this clears some of that confusion in the letter. But I applaud
your effort especially now that the prez is going to Navajo land this
week.
He will be in Shiprock on April 18 I have heard.
